Enrolment on lessons/courses general
Thank you very much for taking an interest in what we have on offer. We hope to see you soon at one (or more) of our lessons or courses. Enrolment on lessons or courses is done via a registration form that you must complete in full. The registration form can be found on the website. You can directly enrol on a course by pressing the button ‘enrol’ [‘inschrijven’] on the page of the course concerned. If you have any questions, or need assistance when enrolling, please contact our Customers Services department (click here).
If you would like to get personal assistance when enrolling, please ask a staff member at one of our library locations.
Fees, discounts, prices
For prices of courses/lessons, please look under the relevant course information on the website. Please note there are special fees and prices and / or discounts for a number of our lessons/courses.

Confirmation of your enrolment
You will receive a written confirmation within 5 working days of your enrolment.
Cancellation by BplusC
For a course/lesson to take place, a required minimum number of enrolments needs to be reached. If this attendance level is not reached, BplusC will offer you a solution in the form of, for instance, offering you a place in an alternative group or postponing the starting date. If the solution offered does not meet your requirements, your registration will be cancelled together with any payment obligations.
Upon enrolment, you will be asked to authorise BplusC to collect the amount payable by direct debit. If you do not issue BplusC with a direct debit mandate, you must pay the amount due into bank account number NL16ABNA0240063147 in the name of BplusC, stating the invoice number, within 2 weeks of receipt of the invoice. Course fees exceeding € 255.00 are payable via direct debit in a maximum of ten monthly instalments. The number of instalments is subject to the starting date and duration of the course. If a direct debit order is reversed by the bank twice, BplusC shall unfortunately be forced to terminate this. You will then receive an invoice for the remaining amount payable, with the request to pay this amount within two weeks.
If there are any delays in payment, you are no longer entitled to attend lessons until the moment that these overdue payments have been paid in full.
The course information on the website will inform you of any supplies/course material you may require and whether these are included in the course / lesson fee. You are advised to wait until the course / lesson is definitely given the go-ahead before you purchase any materials.
Right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal entails that an online enrolment may be cancelled within 14 days without any additional costs or payment obligation. The withdrawal has to be submitted via email@example.com within this period.
Reimbursement lesson fee for courses / lessons cancelled by BplusC.
A. You are entitled to a refund if the course is cancelled due to insufficient enrolments and the solution offered by BplusC does not satisfy.
B. You are entitled to a refund if more than three lessons of a year course (37 lessons) are cancelled. The fee for any cancelled lessons less the first three will then be refunded to you at the end of the course year.
C. You are entitled to a refund of any cancelled lessons of courses of 36 or fewer lessons that cannot be tagged on at the end of the course.
Cancellation by the student/pupil and refunding of tuition fees
Requests to cancel an enrolment and to be reimbursed tuition fees must always be e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. The date of BplusC receiving the request will serve as the reference date from which your cancellation is effective. Your request to be reimbursed will be dealt with within four weeks. You will be charged an administration fee of € 50.00 if your request falls under categories D, E and F.
D. De-enrolment is possible subject to one month´s notice when you move out of Leiden, Oegstgeest or Voorschoten. You must provide proof of your termination of residence from the council.
E. If you have contracted a long-term illness or injury disabling you from participation in the rest of the course, we will first of all work with you to find an alternative solution. If such a solution is not found, you will be refunded a maximum of 50% of tuition fees from the date of your notice of cancellation.
F. If you wish to cancel a year course, you are entitled to a refund of a maximum of 50% of tuition fees from the date of your notice of cancellation.
G. You may cancel a continuous enrolment in a music lesson without giving notice or incurring administration charges provided you cancel your enrolment by 1 October of the new season. Continuous enrolment means that your enrolment will continue into the next season without you having to enrol anew. From 1 October the terms and conditions for cancellations as set out under D, E and F apply.
Please be aware that if the reason for your cancellation is not covered by what is set out under D, E, F or G, no refunds of lesson fees can be made.
BplusC regularly has a photo gallery made of courses, activities and performances. The photos may be used for publicity purposes on the website, in the annual brochure, etc. Upon signing the registration form the student, or his/her legal representative, declares their agreement to publication of this material. You may object in writing to this automatic agreement. BplusC will make every effort to avoid publication of said material.
BplusC does not accept liability for any damage to and/or loss of personal belongings and goods of pupils, students and/or visitors.
