ZAPPATiKA was formed by Zap Mcinnes in 2008 and has featured over 20 different musicians in 6 different line-ups with extra special guest appearances by original Frank Zappa musicians : Ike Willis, Denny Walley, Ed Mann, Jeff Hollie & Craig “Twister” Steward
Ike Willis has toured with ZAPPATiKA in the UK & Europe since 2010

Just like back in the day with Frank,there have been various versions of ZAPPATiKA (line ups) over the past 10 years ,each one seemingly right for the moment. Since its initial inception in 2008,by Zap Mcinnes, there have been more than 20 musicians in the band and 6 different line ups. The biggest “on stage” line up was 13 musicians ,at the Zappanale festival in Germany, which included 5 ex-Frank Zappa musicians, Ike Willis,Ed Mann, Denny Walley, Jeff Hollie & Craig “Twister” Steward. Bill Carbone,the drummer of US based Zappa Tribute “Z3” also joined that show.
