De X presenteert: Quinteto Irreal

Volver is het debuutalbum van Quinteto Irreal en dit concert maakt deel uit van de album release-tour. Aleksandra Tonelli is een Argentijnse pianiste en componiste. Ze is een zeer actieve, nieuwsgierige en ambitieuze schepper uit Buenos Aires, wat haar ertoe bracht haar carrière internationaal te ontwikkelen vanuit Europa, nu dus vanuit Nederland. Ze heeft een nieuwe golf van jonge underground tango-makers naar Nederland gehaald, waardoor hier nu een internationale scene van hoog niveau is. 

Wie van de muziek houdt van groepen als Tango Astillero mag Quinteto Irreal niet missen.

Quinteto Irreal is a new international urban tango project. All the music has been written by Aleksandra Tonelli. Amongst others she was been inspired by influences from the guardia vieja style: fast, playful and fiery. But at the same time the focus is also on the curious, eclectic audience of today. Quinteto Irreal just released their debut album Volver, and this
concert is part of the album release tour. Aleksandra Tonelli is an Argentinian piano player and composer. She comes from Buenos Aires and is very active, curieus and ambitious. So that’s way she decided to pursue her musical career in Europe, now in The Netherlands. She was brought a new wave of young underground tango artists to The Netherlands, that has resulted in an international scene of high level.
